Dedicated tone channels make getting the right sound easy
The transparent clean channel doesn't break up, which is great for playing jazz, country, and blues, and it works great as a power base if you're using pedals for your overdrive and distortion tones. The crunch channel gets you to that halfway dirty place you need for rock, and you can use the gain on this channel to pull out your blues and metal rhythm tones. Lean on the lead channel when you need gain, gain, and even more gain than what the crunch channel can give you. The XL switches on the lead and crunch channels offer you extended low end control while the adjustable noise gate on the lead channel gives you even more tonal control. The MUSIC GROUP® & BEHRINGER® Story
Behringer® is an audio equipment company founded by the Swiss engineer Uli Behringer in 1989, in Willich, Germany. Behringer was listed as the 14th largest manufacturer of music products in 2007. Behringer® is a multinational group of companies, with direct marketing presence in 10 countries or territories and a sales network in over 130 countries around the world. Though originally a German manufacturer, the company now makes its products in China.
The company is owned by Music Group®, a holding company chaired by Uli Behringer, which also owns other audio companies such as Midas®, Klark® Teknik® and Bugera®, as well as Electronic Manufacturing Services company Eurotec®. In June 2012, Music Group® also acquired Turbosound® Company, which designs and manufactures professional loudspeaker systems and was formerly owned by Harman®.
1989–2001: Foundation & Early Development
Uli Behringer, the company's founder, was committed to music and technology from a very early age and had constructed a synthesizer (the UB-1) by the age of 16.
While studying sound engineering and classical piano at the Robert Schumann conservatory in Düsseldorf, Behringer found the university had limited equipment for student use, so he started to build his own products. His fellow students requested equipment from him too, and soon he was receiving more orders than he could handle himself, leading to the creation of Behringer® Inc. In the early days, Behringer focused on studio audio processors such as noise reduction systems and compressors, but the product line soon included guitar amps, PA amplifiers and loudspeakers, mixing boards, stomp boxes, recording interfaces, microphones, digital pianos, guitars, lighting equipment, etc. The appeal of Behringer's products was the package of performance and low price.
While Behringer® products were manufactured in Willich, Germany, many of the individual components were imported from mainland China. In 1990, to lower production costs, Behringer® shifted production from West Germany to mainland China. Initially, subcontractors were engaged to produce the equipment. By 1997, Uli Behringer had relocated to Hong Kong in an effort to supervise manufacturing quality and to better understand Chinese culture.
Ear logo
According to Uli Behringer his piano teacher, impressed with his sense of perfect pitch, nicknamed him "The Ear", the inspiration for the Behringer® Ear logo. The highlighted "ING" stands for "diploma engineer", or the German academic title "Dipl.-Ing", which he received upon his graduation from the Fachhochschule, Düsseldorf. The logo was updated to the current logo in September 2010.
2002–2007: Behringer City
In 2002, Behringer® completed its own factory, Behringer City, in Zhongshan of China's Guangdong Province after it consolidated more than ten separate production locations into one vertically integrated plant. Comprising eight buildings that produces electronics, speakers, guitars and digital pianos and also hosts an onsite health clinic. This strategy was different than that taken by other musical instrument companies who used third party manufacturers. Choosing to run a self-contained plant allowed Behringer a greater level of quality control. The 1,200,000-square-foot (110,000m²) manufacturing complex in Zhongshan ships more than 2.5 million Behringer® products per year to markets around the globe. The plant turns out over 50,000 mixers per month.

THE BUGERA® STORY
Wherever our madness comes from, we were determined to bring something new to that huge all-ages party bash known as Guitar Amplification. Not just old-rehashed tone wearing new boots and panties, but fresh new faces with the energy to kick the Guitar Amplification party up a notch or two.
And darned if just 3 years later, BUGERA® seems to have won enough respect to let us party with the stars. If you’re one of the proud BUGERA® amp owners who helped us get this far, here’s to you.
BUGERA® does it right. We don’t just buy off-the-shelf components and stuff‘em into cabinets. Doing things right takes major resources. First, we are obsessive about valve selection.
Second, we’re one of the few companies that makes every major amp and cabinet component — all the way down to the voice-coil windings and cones of our custom-built speakers. And third, we’re quality control freaks who know how to use high tech production methods to get vintage results.
It’s sort of like Survivor except with valves. For relatively simple devices that have been around over 100 years, thermionic valves (a.k.a. tubes) are incredibly mysterious little buggers. Each, and every one literally has its own personality. And some are nicer than others.
So we buy boatloads of tubes and meticulously test each one. For electronic tolerances, microphonics, continuity over time and of course tone (by plugging every one into an amp and listening to it). We then sort preamp triodes into five and power amp pentodes into eight categories, and hand-match the survivors into pairs for even performance and long-life expectancy. Bottom line: For every ten tubes we buy, only one makes the cut and becomes A-graded for sensitive V1 stages.
We build our own speakers. It ain’t easy. A guitar cabinet and the speaker(s) inside is a musical instrument in its own right. Having to buy somebody else’s speakers severely limits tonal options.
So we made the mondo investment it takes to build BUGERA® speakers in-house. We grind our own pulp and then form the cones. We wind our own voice coils, stamp our own suspensions, machine our own back plates, hand-assemble and test each speaker. It’s an important part of why BUGERA® combos and cabs sound so good.
High tech design for classic tone. BUGERA® amps are assembled using both circuit boards and hand-wiring. We don’t apologize for using circuit boards …because when done right, it’s the best way to minimize noise and maximize durability.
Months of R&D time have gone into the design and placement of multiple circuit boards dedicated to each amp section; internal cabling has been planned out in the same careful manner. These modern improvements let us deliver amps that achieve all the classic, vintage tones but with far less of the classic vintage buzz, whine and hum.
Picky, picky, picky. Our obsession starts with tubes and ends with one of the most rigorous testing programs of any amplifier manufacturer. Literally every fourth technician in the BUGERA® factory is a Quality Control Inspector. Every head and combo undergoes a battery of tests at each stage of assembly.
Finally, each amp is burned in, calibrated and tested by a guitarist. Yes, a highly skilled guitarist actually plays through every single amp. Then, and only then, do they earn the name BUGERA®. All these advanced manufacturing methods, old school design and loving care that goes into building BUGERA®, means you get a rock-solid amp that can take years of hard use. Just ask our endorsers who have racked up thousands of gigs in the last year alone.
They can swing both ways. Many of our amps can be configured to operate in either 6L6 or EL34 mode, enabling your sound to migrate east of the Atlantic Ocean to the west coast of the USA.
Reconfiguration requires installing the new tubes, which are not provided, flipping a single switch and adjusting the bias voltage. We highly recommend you contact a skilled professional for this service.

While we offer a warranty on your purchase, because we run on very tight profit margins (meaning cheaper gear - which is good for you, the buyer), it also means that you need to make sure you actually want the items for their incredible tone, durability, and lasting quality rather than perfect looks. Any returns or refunds will incur a re-stock fee of around a third the value of your (already) low purchase price so please remember that while most of our gear is excellent for the age, these items (especially our valve amplifier) are indeed rare and represent the sound of an unrepeatable era. CHANNEL YOUR SOUND
- Channel 1: The totally-clean Clean channel won’t break up: great for jazz, country, blues and also great as a fat, clean power base for players using external boxes for their OD and distortion.
- Channel 2: The Crunch channel can work as a “halfway dirty” sound for rock and blues, if you crank the volume and use the gain as your master volume. It shines as the heavy rhythm channel for a metal rig, when the gain is fully cranked.

Dedicated tone channels make getting the right sound easy
The transparent clean channel doesn't break up, which is great for playing jazz, country, and blues, and it works great as a power base if you're using pedals for your overdrive and distortion tones. The crunch channel gets you to that halfway dirty place you need for rock, and you can use the gain on this channel to pull out your blues and metal rhythm tones. Lean on the lead channel when you need gain, gain, and even more gain than what the crunch channel can give you. The XL switches on the lead and crunch channels offer you extended low end control while the adjustable noise gate on the lead channel gives you even more tonal control. All three of the BUGERA® 333XL™ INFINIUM™'s channels have individual volume controls and an EQ section that lets you really dig in and fine tune your tone, and the master section presence control handles the shaping of your midrange.

The MUSIC GROUP® & BEHRINGER® Story
Behringer® is an audio equipment company founded by the Swiss engineer Uli Behringer in 1989, in Willich, Germany. Behringer was listed as the 14th largest manufacturer of music products in 2007. Behringer® is a multinational group of companies, with direct marketing presence in 10 countries or territories and a sales network in over 130 countries around the world. Though originally a German manufacturer, the company now makes its products in China.
The company is owned by Music Group®, a holding company chaired by Uli Behringer, which also owns other audio companies such as Midas®, Klark® Teknik® and Bugera®, as well as Electronic Manufacturing Services company Eurotec®. In June 2012, Music Group® also acquired Turbosound® Company, which designs and manufactures professional loudspeaker systems and was formerly owned by Harman®.
1989–2001: Foundation & Early Development
Uli Behringer, the company's founder, was committed to music and technology from a very early age and had constructed a synthesizer (the UB-1) by the age of 16.
While studying sound engineering and classical piano at the Robert Schumann conservatory in Düsseldorf, Behringer found the university had limited equipment for student use, so he started to build his own products. His fellow students requested equipment from him too, and soon he was receiving more orders than he could handle himself, leading to the creation of Behringer® Inc. In the early days, Behringer focused on studio audio processors such as noise reduction systems and compressors, but the product line soon included guitar amps, PA amplifiers and loudspeakers, mixing boards, stomp boxes, recording interfaces, microphones, digital pianos, guitars, lighting equipment, etc. The appeal of Behringer's products was the package of performance and low price.
While Behringer® products were manufactured in Willich, Germany, many of the individual components were imported from mainland China. In 1990, to lower production costs, Behringer® shifted production from West Germany to mainland China. Initially, subcontractors were engaged to produce the equipment. By 1997, Uli Behringer had relocated to Hong Kong in an effort to supervise manufacturing quality and to better understand Chinese culture.
Ear logo
According to Uli Behringer his piano teacher, impressed with his sense of perfect pitch, nicknamed him "The Ear", the inspiration for the Behringer® Ear logo. The highlighted "ING" stands for "diploma engineer", or the German academic title "Dipl.-Ing", which he received upon his graduation from the Fachhochschule, Düsseldorf. The logo was updated to the current logo in September 2010.
2002–2007: Behringer City
In 2002, Behringer® completed its own factory, Behringer City, in Zhongshan of China's Guangdong Province after it consolidated more than ten separate production locations into one vertically integrated plant. Comprising eight buildings that produces electronics, speakers, guitars and digital pianos and also hosts an onsite health clinic. This strategy was different than that taken by other musical instrument companies who used third party manufacturers. Choosing to run a self-contained plant allowed Behringer a greater level of quality control. The 1,200,000-square-foot (110,000m²) manufacturing complex in Zhongshan ships more than 2.5 million Behringer® products per year to markets around the globe. The plant turns out over 50,000 mixers per month.

Inspired by lean manufacturing, and driven by the Kaizen philosophy of continual improvement, Behringe®r makes efforts to help its employees to improve. Wherever our madness comes from, we were determined to bring something new to that huge all-ages party bash known as Guitar Amplification. Not just old-rehashed tone wearing new boots and panties, but fresh new faces with the energy to kick the Guitar Amplification party up a notch or two.
And darned if just 3 years later, BUGERA® seems to have won enough respect to let us party with the stars. If you’re one of the proud BUGERA® amp owners who helped us get this far, here’s to you.
BUGERA® does it right. We don’t just buy off-the-shelf components and stuff‘em into cabinets. Doing things right takes major resources. First, we are obsessive about valve selection.
Second, we’re one of the few companies that makes every major amp and cabinet component — all the way down to the voice-coil windings and cones of our custom-built speakers. And third, we’re quality control freaks who know how to use high tech production methods to get vintage results.
It’s sort of like Survivor except with valves. For relatively simple devices that have been around over 100 years, thermionic valves (a.k.a. tubes) are incredibly mysterious little buggers. Each, and every one literally has its own personality. And some are nicer than others.
So we buy boatloads of tubes and meticulously test each one. For electronic tolerances, microphonics, continuity over time and of course tone (by plugging every one into an amp and listening to it). We then sort preamp triodes into five and power amp pentodes into eight categories, and hand-match the survivors into pairs for even performance and long-life expectancy. Bottom line: For every ten tubes we buy, only one makes the cut and becomes A-graded for sensitive V1 stages.
We build our own speakers. It ain’t easy. A guitar cabinet and the speaker(s) inside is a musical instrument in its own right. Having to buy somebody else’s speakers severely limits tonal options.
So we made the mondo investment it takes to build BUGERA® speakers in-house. We grind our own pulp and then form the cones. We wind our own voice coils, stamp our own suspensions, machine our own back plates, hand-assemble and test each speaker. It’s an important part of why BUGERA® combos and cabs sound so good.
High tech design for classic tone. BUGERA® amps are assembled using both circuit boards and hand-wiring. We don’t apologize for using circuit boards …because when done right, it’s the best way to minimize noise and maximize durability.
Months of R&D time have gone into the design and placement of multiple circuit boards dedicated to each amp section; internal cabling has been planned out in the same careful manner. These modern improvements let us deliver amps that achieve all the classic, vintage tones but with far less of the classic vintage buzz, whine and hum.
Picky, picky, picky. Our obsession starts with tubes and ends with one of the most rigorous testing programs of any amplifier manufacturer. Literally every fourth technician in the BUGERA® factory is a Quality Control Inspector. Every head and combo undergoes a battery of tests at each stage of assembly.
Finally, each amp is burned in, calibrated and tested by a guitarist. Yes, a highly skilled guitarist actually plays through every single amp. Then, and only then, do they earn the name BUGERA®. All these advanced manufacturing methods, old school design and loving care that goes into building BUGERA®, means you get a rock-solid amp that can take years of hard use. Just ask our endorsers who have racked up thousands of gigs in the last year alone.
They can swing both ways. Many of our amps can be configured to operate in either 6L6 or EL34 mode, enabling your sound to migrate east of the Atlantic Ocean to the west coast of the USA.
Reconfiguration requires installing the new tubes, which are not provided, flipping a single switch and adjusting the bias voltage. We highly recommend you contact a skilled professional for this service.

A note on our rare, classic, vintage, collectable, and used musical instrument amplifier & musical instrument equipment items. While we offer a warranty on your purchase, because we run on very tight profit margins (meaning cheaper gear - which is good for you, the buyer), it also means that you need to make sure you actually want the items for their incredible tone, durability, and lasting quality rather than perfect looks. Any returns or refunds will incur a re-stock fee of around a third the value of your (already) low purchase price so please remember that while most of our gear is excellent for the age, these items (especially our valve amplifier) are indeed rare and represent the sound of an unrepeatable era. Even though we meticulously service, test, clean, polish and warrant all our gear, there may occasionally be some residual scuffs underneath or on the sides, or perhaps a tiny tolex rip on the rear.
