With formidable construction and a tight, unflappable sound, the PPC412 has achieved near-legendary status in guitarist circles. The PPC412 is our classic full-sized ‘straight-front’ 4×12″ cabinet with a signature delivery that has made it a mainstay of touring artists across the globe. Built to last using extremely rugged construction and manufacturing techniques, every PPC412 is made in England from high density, 13 ply 18mm Baltic birch plywood and fitted with steel hardware to withstand the rigours of the road. This blows every cab I've ever played out of the water. Marshall®, Avatar®, MESA®, Peavey®, etc. The tone is smooth, clean, and tight. Construction is solid. It'll last you a lifetime. The weight is manageable if you have a roadie to help. Just look at all of the artists out there using these cabs, they all can't be wrong. It's expensive and heavy, but I think it's worth it. And besides, this is probably the sexiest guitar cab out there.

This cab sings! That's all I can say. It really is the best cab I have ever owned, and that's including a famed Marshall® 1960 cab. It probably is one of the most balanced sounded cabs I have ever played. The low end is focused and the top end sparkles. The design of the cab seems to be all about focusing the right sounds. I think other amp makers could take a lesson from Orange® here because this thing just rocks! Built like a tank too.

I bought one and loved it so much I wanted full stack so I bought another ! ! ! The sound is clean, crisp, and clear. Can't beat those V-30's and COOL color. I can't believe how hard I've fallen in love with these cabinets. I found a great deal on a 2x12 for the home studio an a full stack for shows. I was torn between the Orange® and the MESA® Cabs. I decided to go with Orange® and never looked back. Can't beat these bad boys for metal music. You won't regret it. Do it!

This cabinet is downright incredible. The build quality along with the Celestion® Vintage V30 Speakers provide you with an amazing sound. The wooden slats on the bottom keep it anchored to the floor focusing the bottom end of your sound. The down side with it is that you cannot put casters on the bottom for easy movement^^. And trust me this cab is HEAVY. But if you're willing to lug it around, it won't disappoint.

(^^NOTE: Pop-Out Casters can actually be installed but it is recommended that they be popped out to allow the Cab to sit on the floor when playing live.)

This is an awesome cabinet!

I love the Orange® Cabinet, it sounds amazing, a looks awesome. The pads (Skids) on the bottom really help to improve stage sound. I couldn't be happier with this cab. My friend owns a MESA® Cab and they are both great cabs, but I think orange 'takes the cake'. Playing live the cabinet really stands out (in a good way).

Overall, an EXCELLENT purchase.

Seven categories contain multiple effects types to choose from, plus dedicated knobs for selecting a type and adjusting it with a set of parameters you’d find in the pedal version of the effect. The Pedal FX category has its own knob for quickly assigning a particular effects type or function to be controlled by foot with the expression pedal. With this familiar and friendly interface, you’re able to dial up and play great tones instantly, just like using a large pedalboard filled with your favorite stomps. But a major advantage over that pedalboard is that you can to save all the current knob settings to one of the ME-80’s 36 user patch locations, allowing you to recall custom effects configurations at the touch of a pedal.
 
STOMPBOX IMMEDIACY OR MULTI-FX POWER: YOU DECIDE
 The hands-on experience that stompbox control provides is perfect for tweaking tones as you go. However, there are times when switching among an entire group of preset effects is more efficient, such as when you’ve set up complex tones for different songs. The flexible ME-80 supports either approach, giving you the best of worlds. In Manual mode, the categories function like individual stomp effects, with instant adjustment via the panel knobs and on/off control with dedicated footswitches. By entering Memory mode, seven footswitches are automatically reconfigured to select user or preset patches and patch banks, letting you recall complete multi-effects setups directly. One footswitch on the ME-80 is dedicated just for mode switching, so you can toggle between Manual and Memory modes any time you want, even in the middle of a song.
 
NEW FOOTSWITCH DESIGN DELIVERS TWICE THE CONTROL
 The ME-80 offers easy usability while performing, with eight multifunction footswitches for direct control of effects on/off, bank/patch selection, and mode switching, plus convenient access to alternate functions such as tap tempo, tuner, looper control, and more. A special control (CTL) function is also assignable in each patch, letting you toggle grouped effects on/off or adjust a specified parameter in real time. The newly developed footswitch style provides two switches in the space occupied by one in previous designs, allowing BOSS to equip the ME-80 with a generous array of foot-operated controls while keeping the unit extremely compact and mobile. In addition to the eight main footswitches, the expression pedal is equipped with an integrated toe switch that toggles between foot volume and the current Pedal FX setting.
 
USB AUDIO/MIDI INTERFACE BUILT IN
 Via USB, you can connect to your computer and capture the output of the ME-80 directly into your favorite DAW to record pro tones with COSM preamps and effects. It’s also possible to monitor the ME-80’s effects sound while recording an unprocessed signal into a DAW track; after the fact, use the USB Loopback function to “re-amp” the dry track with the ME-80, tweaking the knobs as you listen to the song to capture the perfect tone. MIDI transfer over USB is also supported, allowing you to select ME-80 patches from your computer, send expression and control pedal data into your software, and swap patches via BOSS TONE STUDIO.

 Available as a free download, the BOSS TONE STUDIO application provides an inviting graphical interface for tweaking the ME-80’s effects from your Mac or Windows computer through USB. Comments about Orange® Amplifiers PPC Series PPC212-C 120w 2x12 Closed Back Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

The best cab you will ever buy.  The model I own was made when they were still built in Britain but I'm sure these are just as good. I play out of a 1985 Marshall® JCM®800 and combined with this it sounds like gold. The absolute best cab I have ever used. The 4x12's are really nice too but this is obviously a lot easier to transport especially if you're in a touring band. It's definitely powerful enough despite it's size.

If you're looking for a really nice vintage dirty sound this will do the job. The Celestion® Vintage V30's are the best speakers you can buy and there's a reason they come standard in every Orange® product.

It's nice to see that Orange® is making a comeback with all these modern bands and there's a good reason everyone is using them; THIS CAB WRECKS, sounds insane, built to last, British or American . . . doesn't matter anything with the word Orange® on it is quality
a little over priced, I got mine used for a good deal but if I had the money I'd definitely buy one new.

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Built like a tank . . . You can't break it. Unless your pulling a Hendrix and accidentally set it on fire.  This cabinet rocks! It is very heavy and very solid. I was amazed when I got it. I was disappointed that so many manufacturers are outsourcing the production of their equipment to cheap third world countries and had a very hard time choosing between MESA/Boogie®, Orange®, PRS®, and Marshall®. This cabinet is designed by Orange® but made in the good old USA. It also has some great speakers in it that will last forever. The cabinet has lots of volume and just fills a space with sound. It sounds good with a 150w head and it also sounds good with my little night train amp. You can't go wrong.

Sounds great! Clean tones are perfect even at loud volumes.

It's expensive but worth it. Unless your a collector . . . you won't need another cabinet, EVER!

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This cab can do it all. Chiming clear cleans to the deepest heavy metal chugs! Heavy and durable with tremendous projection. Sounds great at high volume or bedroom levels. It does cost a bit more but the quality is there. It is a tank, I would not hesitate to get another if I somehow lost this or it was stolen.

I love this cabinet! It sounds awesome, and the notes ring so sweet, whether you strum for sustained clarity or punch it with "thumpy" palm mutes, etc. Very versatile. The cabinet just screams quality, with its multi-ply birch construction.

I bought the restock for about one fifty less, and you can't tell it's a Re-Stock or B-Stock. If you're looking to save money and don't mind getting a restock, GO FOR IT! You will not be disappointed, even if your experience isn't as stellar as mine. Mine is orange, and I figure, well if I'm buying an Orange® product, it has to be orange, right?

Cons: Having 13-ply birch construction, this cabinet seems to be on the heavier side. You get awesome tone and sound, but the price is it makes this cabinet a bit beefier and heavier than other 2x12" cabs I've seen. I am not complaining, just feel it's fair to list at least one con, and be fair, as NOTHING IS PERFECT. That being said, the extra weight is worth it. This cabinet sounds like heaven. This cabinet proves why so many rant and rave about Orange® products.

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

It's only been a couple of weeks and I am still breaking this cab in but at the very least to say I am impressed! This cab is solid, has great bass response and is built incredibly well. I play Hard Rock and Metal so I was looking for a cab that could handle some brutal overdrive and yet still give off some warm overtones on the clean parts. I also wanted a smaller cab rather than a huge 4x12" and this thing met my needs nicely and still gets it. This cab is heavy but that is what you get if you want a solid constructed closed back cab with good punchy response! The Celestion® Vintage 30's are my favorite and put out a very nice warm low-end! These speakers can really deliver a mean crunch when you push them and handle the overdrive well. I use a Blackstar® HT50 Club Head with it and it sounds incredible! I highly recommend this cab and am very happy with it!

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

The ESP® LTD® MP-200 is the opening model of the Michael Paget Signature Series made by ESP® Guitars. This model only features the basic specs list assigned to this series. MP-200 is a V-Shaped guitar with a flat, solid body. Also, it features a bolt-on joint. The body of this model is made of basswood, instead of mahogany, which is reserved for the top models. CRAFTER® GUITARS WB Series "Bowl Back" guitars have enjoyed a lot of success over the years. However, we have, for some time, wanted to replace the copolymer material from which the bowl was made. The bowl of the new WB models is constructed by pressing a combination of thin strips of alder wood together with a suitable binder. The real timbers give a more natural tone whilst retaining the benefits of the copolymer bowls. The WB-700CE has a solid spruce top with Natural or Vintage Burst finish and its small jumbo body has a smaller waist arched back cutaway body style for absolutely wonderful comfort as well as allowing great higher fret access to allow your creative desires soar!

The Crafter® Guitar Story

At Crafter® we have been developing our technology since 1972 to advance our manufacturing skill and quality.

Thank you for interest in Crafter® Guitars. My father, HyunKwon Park, founded our company in April 1972. The first guitars were built in the basement of his home where he had just 20 square meters of space and a staff of 4. He soon chose Sungeum as the name for the guitars. In Korean it means 'accomplishing the sound' and is a name which, in the Korean language, captured the spirit, passion and ethos of the company and its products. My father's company enjoyed early success building classical guitars which soon acquired a reputation for excellence among local musicians. By 1978 the Sungeum Guitar Company had outgrown their basement space and moved to bigger premises in Yangju-gun, just outside Seoul, in order to fulfil growing demand for the guitars.

I joined my father in 1986 and the decision was made to take our guitars to the world market. I chose the name Crafter® to represent the brand globally. To me, the name Crafter® has connotations of high quality and also pays tribute to the craftsmen who create the guitars. The Crafter® brand is now registered in more than 40 countries throughout the world.

In 2009, we expanded again and built a bigger, state-of-the art guitar factory, in order to keep pace with demand. The move was the result of 5 years of planning and construction, and features modern facilities including leisure rooms, a spacious restaurant, gym, and a chapel for all the staff. Building in the same area as the previous workshop meant that Crafter® could retain all of their loyal and highly trained staff.

Although today's guitars are produced using all the fantastic benefits of modern technology, a great amount hand craftwork still goes into the making of each instrument. More than 60,000 instruments leave our factory each year, and every single one of them has its own personality, just like the people who build them.

Since the very start in 1972 we have pursued a program of continuous review and development and we are proud that our innovations, quality and value have resulted in the instrument that you have chosen ahead of so many others. Craftsmanship
I see guitars as the instrument that allows musicians to express their creative ideas and bring great satisfaction and pleasure. This motivates me to build my guitars with the skill and the craftsmanship that we have acquired over the 45 years that we have been making guitars. If I succeed in making the good guitars that our customers enjoy then I consider my task to have been well done.

Timbers
The types of wood and their quality are key to the tone and look of a guitar. Characteristics such as grain and color are basic to the “look” whereas the kind of woods, their grain and their density, are fundamental to tone and volume. There is no "best" wood for your guitar. Choose the combination that produces the tone and look that appeals to your taste. The natural woods that we use have to be conditioned to contain the right amount of moisture and resins. We stack our wood in custom built drying rooms which are both temperature and humidity controlled and the process takes between 2 and 3 years. Once completed, and the tops and backs are book matched, the wood is moved to climate controlled store rooms where the moisture and resin content are kept stable. Good preparation of tone woods takes time and requires sophisticated facilities but if it is not done properly the instrument is at risk of twisting and distorting. When we use solid tops or backs we take care to “book match” the left and right halves. Not only does the symmetry look really good but the left and right halves have the same resonance and this is an important contributor to balanced tone.

MUSICRADAR REVIEW:  SCHECTER GUITAR RESEARCH® Diamond Series® HELLRAISER C-7

At first glance, the spec sheet of the South Korean-built HELLRAISER C-7 is so similar to that of the ESP® LTD® MH-417 that it's like the designers were copying each other's homework.

It's flawlessly built around a sculpted mahogany body and slim C-Profile neck, features rosewood board and 24-Fat-Frets. To kick off, the C-7 comes spec'd with a pair of Coil-"Splittable" EMG® 707TW Humbuckers. The coil-split is activated from a push/pull on each of the volume controls.

Now, you may think think that single-coil options are a bit pointless on a fire-breathing 7-String guitar, buy you'd be wrong.  Tonal versatility is never pointless and the C-7 reinforces that opinion with a selection of warm yet punchy "humbucking" and single-coil sounds.

EMG® pickups are not generally celebrated for their clean tone but the single-coil mode on both 707 pickups works great for jazzy runs and chords and blues licks on mild overdrive settings.

The HELLRAISER's extended 26½-inch scale adds a useful touch of extra tension to the low B-String for increased definition, even when the distortion is piled on - and the other strings feel unaffected by the added tension. There's just a bit more twang in the tone - and that's important if you want your bottom string riffs to stand out live or in a mix.

The HELLRAISER's wider tonal range and extended scale length make it a more potent package for us. The lowish price tag doesn't hurt either.

We reckon you'll use the guitar's single-coil options more than you expect, and you'll definitely appreciate the tighter response in the low B-String.

It may be a HELLRAISER by name, but this guitar is so much more than that !

Finally, the feel and tone I've been after! I played a Schecter® Omen-7 with DiMarzio® Deactivators that I bought used a few years ago (my first 7-String) and bought this Hellraiser as an upgrade. After shopping numerous models from Schecter®, ESP®, and Ibanez® over the past year, I settled on this one, and could not be happier. I don't typically gush about the aesthetics of my toys, but this guitar is a thing of beauty.  I put on some strap locks, plugged it into my rig (Orange® Rockerverb 50 and Orange® Dual Terror heads into a MESA/Boogie® Recto® 4x12 and Carvin® 2x12) and fired it up. The first thing I noticed was a giant improvement in the low end clarity. I play mostly rhythm in my current band, and had never been able to get the mud out of the sound. Not any more! From drop Ab power chords to single note runs, it sounds alive at every range, and puts fire in my riffs. Harmonics and feedback are total ear candy. The feel of the neck is perfect, and the access to the upper range frets is sweet. This is my first guitar with active pickups, and from the sound of them, there's no going back. The switching and separate coil taps make for great tonal versatility. The fretwork and overall quality are high end. I'm very happy to have gotten such great value for the price. As always, my sales rep did a top notch job on the delivery.

The Hellraiser C-7 is an excellent guitar. It is solidly built, the pickups sound great and the tuners are very good. The only issues I've had are minor (replacing tone knobs and toggle switch cover because they had fallen off). But it really is a great playing guitar and great sounding for rock and metal. Highly recommended - probably one of the best guitars under US$1000.

I got this 2nd hand but I loved this guitar! It felt really good! The EMG®s are really good for the distortion tones, and I LOVE the 2 x Volume knobs! The TOM bridge and gloss neck is the only thing that irritated me. But for the price it is pretty nice!

The looks are impeccable. The fit and finish are superb. SOUND: The EMG®s are LOUD and POWERFUL. I have to turn down the volume on the guitar so I don't overpower my amp set up. The clarity is nice and there are many tones available. The volume knob by the bridge pickup is a bit close for my taste but if you're used to a Strat it's fine. Locking tuners perform flawlessly and this guitar stays in tune. When the climate changes the tuning all strings change nearly evenly. A well built adn good sounding guitar, equally happy in the heavy metal, rock, and even jazz genre. It's a great all rounder, and pretty too ! ! ! This guitar is number 30 in my collection.

High Output Humbucking Pickup
The high output humbucking pickup was designed for clarity and true reproduction of the basses natural tone, with minimal coloration. 2 rows of large magnetic pole pieces pump the strings information into the pickup, feeding the 2 band active preamp. Tones can be aggressive, wild or mild. It’s up to you to find your sound. 3 screw adjustment allow for more accurate positioning of the pickups angle & height, allowing for more precise adjustments to match the strings angle.

Satin Finished Neck
The feel of the neck is everything. Your fretting hand is touching the neck 100% of the time you play your bass. We developed a super smooth satin finish for the back of the neck. This finish is non-glossy, never gets sticky and always feels fresh. The tinted satin finish looks great and gives the instrument a classic look and feel.

Neck Adjustments
All stringed instruments need some basic adjustments from time to time. Neck adjustments can be intimidating for some. S.U.B. ® makes it easy and simple. S.U.B. ®Series guitars & basses have an easy to adjust neck. No specialized tools are needed. The small thumbwheel located at the end of the fingerboard makes it easy and simple. You can use a small screwdriver or the included chrome bar to easily and quickly adjust the neck to your preference. No need to remove the neck or strings, you can make the adjustments on the fly. Easy, quick, and convenient, more time to play, less need for adjustments.

Top Mounted Output Jack
No more fumbling trying plug in the cable. The output jack is conveniently placed on top of the body. Located on the control plate, the jack is secure, and won't easily pull out or suffer damage when placed in a guitar stand. We use a heavy duty jack that is designed to withstand plenty of use and abuse.

Battery
The 2-Band active pre-amp is powered by a 9 volt battery. The easy to open battery compartment makes battery changes easy and simple. Simply flip up the battery door, unclip the 9 volt from the clip and clip in your new battery; takes no time at all. The battery is easily accessible on the back of the body. Your battery should last for several months under normal use. We recommend you unplug the cable when not in use, to conserve on the batteries life span.

I was down my local music store checking out a budget priced bass for my son. I was originally looking at Squier or Yamaha but the guy in the shop put me on to this Ray 4. Wow, it just blew the rest out of the water - the active pick-ups are so much more punchier than the others I tried. Even on the sometimes "dead-zone" of the 7th fret or above of the E string on lower-end basses, this bad-boy stayed sharp. Don't waste your money on anything else in this price range. Looks cool too!!!!

I was amazed with the quality, playability and sound that you get from this bass. I've owned more expensive basses from Fender and even Musicman that weren't this great. But for fairness sake I will compare it to something in the same ballpark price wise. The cost is similar to the OLP line Musicaman licensed a few years back, but quality wise it blows away my OLP bass. It has been a very long time since I have been this pleased with parting with my hard earned money. I am really glad I opted for a new Sterling SUB Ray4 rather than buying a used something else.

This bass should cost way more than what it does. You get SOOOOO much for so little here. I have been a Fender guy for many years. I own a Jazz Bass that cost be $1200.00. I have always loved the Stingray design and sound and they have been consistently recommended by my musician friends. I decided to buy this as my first jump into the Music Man line and I could not be happier. This bass plays better than my Jazz Bass (and this is coming from a guy who has been a sworn defender of Fender for my entire playing career). The finish on the back of the neck is beyond awesome. I play Fender because I hate painted necks. I hate how my thumb sticks to the neck and have been a Fender player for years as a result. This is actually a smoother neck than any Fender I have played. The humbucker is an absolute BEAST and sounds so good and clear. The attack of the pickup is solid and I could not be happier with the sound I get from this bass.

Buy this whether novice or experienced. You will most definitely not regret it at any point!

I cannot say how much I love to have my hands on this bass. After setting it up and pushing the truss rod adjustment to its limit to get the action low, this baby is a beast. If you are after MM tone and feel and want to keep most of your money your pocket, this is the ticket. Throw on a new set of your favorite strings and drop the pickup according to your preference of how hot you want your output and let it rip. I have had the Ray5 for 2 years and never loved it. I found a deal on a used Ray4 and once I picked it up I fell in love. The 4 string spacing at the bridge seems much more natural compared to the narrow 5 string spacing. I have rekindled my fire to play and I am even getting some play time in with the 4 string on gigs where I have always played a five. Sound great with the bass knob just below midpoint and the treble right in the middle. Leave all your amp settings in the middle.

Okay, I was originally having a problem with the pick guard of this bass guitar scratching too easily. I got in touch with the company and found out, TO MY AMAZEMENT, that this pick guard comes with TWO protective plastic coverings. I've never encountered a product like this with TWO protective plastic coverings.

Once I peeled away the second plastic protection for the pick guard my only problem with this bass was solved!!!

Besides needing a basic intonation and action set up adjustment and a bit of a truss rod adjustment it plays awesome!!!

BTW: The action adjusting allen wrench and the truss rod adjustment tool are taped onto the inner box part

Unless something unexpected happens, I now give this bass guitar 5 stars and recommend it to ANYONE who wants a high quality bass at a great price!!

HISTORY OF THIS (S/N: N3107560) GUITAR

The early 90's USA American Fender® Strat®Plus Deluxe models feature a wide of variety of variations and configurations and were most notable for their use of Lace® Sensor pickups, popularised by the likes of Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler. Lace® Sensors are unique in that whilst they function in a similar way to classic single coils, and are for all intents and purposes single coil by nature, they are shielded by a metal barrier which reduces electro-magnetic interference. This Strat® features the celebrated Gold Lace® Sensors in all three positions, as rather than the lesser Red, Blue or Silver configuration and comes with the Fender® American Floyd Rose® Deluxe Licenced Locking Bridge. To change strings, you simply cut off the ball-end of the string and feed it into the bridge saddle under the machines steel barrel and then tighten down the Allen screw. Fast and reliable, no feeding strings through the tremolo in the back of the body thus risk scratching your guitar. Thus the back cover is solid as there is no reason for the hole for the strings. The Plus model also features roller nut and locking tuners which render the string tree unnecessary.

Also included is the Fender® TBX Tone Control which consists of a detented 250k/1 Meg stacked pot, a 0.022uF standard film capacitor, and an 82k-ohm carbon-film resistor. In a nutshell, the Fender® TBX Tone Control is a special pot that cuts either treble or bass instead of a normal tone pot, which cuts only treble. This means an enhanced "tonal variation" when the tone control is used above the "5" position (an indented groove in the shaft allows this to be felt when adjusting the tone control). From 0 to 5, the TBX functions as a standard tone control, but once it passes "5" it starts to decrease the resistance, which allows more bass, treble, presence and output to the amp. Most important, the guitar has just undergone a full overhaul including a complete Re-Fret completed with period matched medium jumbo frets by accredited luthier Phil at The Luthiers Lot (http://www.guitarworx.net). All pots were cleaned and wiring checked and secured. Intonation was set and adjusted for use of the tremolo.
