TUITION STRUCTURE
Students register for each school term (usually 10 or 11 weeks) or part thereof when starting after term has commenced, then individually tutored at the same regular weekly timeslot. Lessons are held Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays / Sundays by appointment. We are open for business between 10.00am and 10.00pm so there are a large selection of tuition times. Trial lessons are available on request to help the uncertain get started and a range of tuition incentives are in place – including early payment discounts and reduced rates for juniors, low income earners, and pensioners. Flexible payment options are readily available and encouraged where necessary. Also, to ensure tuition time and value-for-money are maximised, we offer to re-schedule any missed lessons to another day or week throughout the term.
TUITION FEE SYSTEM
Our competitively priced fee structure is age and experience based and is as cheap and fair as we can make it to allow everyone to get involved. Students progress incrementally using starting age and experience as a guide, ie: cheapest for youngest progressing through to senior secondary rate then onto young adult and adult rates. View the fees charts to get a good price indication. The youngest least experienced starters attract the cheapest fees when we enroll them in our special ½ Unit (30mins per week)
term lessons with beginners in mind. This allows just enough time to learn the material for further individual home practice. Once students acheive during this phase (which, depending on age, may last for quite some time) other weekly time configurations are then available to achieve the next level of results. For example:
¾ Unit (45mins per week) or
Full Unit (60mins per week)
tuition is available & encouraged to fast track learning. Please see TUITION FEES in the TUITION dropdown menu for a more complete weekly tuition configuration & price listing.
To encourage new starters, some of our promotional material includes free music lessons vouchers. These usually take the form of flyers or newspaper and magazine advertising issued throughout the year. If you live in the district you may have already received one of our flyers in the mail. If not, you can view these specials online when they are available.

HOW WE GET RESULTS
Our teachers strive for excellence at all times doing all they can to propel students towards their goals. Every dedication and persistence is offered to unlock musical potential – no matter how great or small that may be and our tutors' qualifications and teaching methods guarantee results.
It's all about starting at the beginning then building up musical skills bit by bit, day by day, week by week following the course material until progress is made. Moving from the basics we focus on practical musicianship using regular weekly bookwork to develop knowledge and experience in chords, scales, notes, rhythms, tempo, timing, tunes and entry level song playing. We shift to the more creative aspects including improvisation, playing of full pieces and songs, while experiencing and experimenting with styles and dynamics (loud, soft, timing, duration, accents, syncopation, feel, groove, style etc etc). Eventually, individual ability and even your own unique style and sound develop. Writing your own compositions is encouraged. We are more than music tutors – we are musicians, song writers, arrangers, performers, singers, engineers, always ready to take you further.
At each weekly lesson speed graduated play along audio is used. This slowly develops the habit of using the ears, eyes, hands in a co-ordinated effort to achieve the result. The play along audio speed is increased to normal pace which continually challenges concentration until it becomes second nature to play the chosen instrument correctly. Even though lessons are fun they are structured using printed material to ensure a firm basis in theory at every stage of development. The rudiments of sight reading are an integral part of our book work but further study is available and encouraged. Our theory specific lessons have proved popular over the years for those who desire greater achievement in this field.
