Music Tuition Fee System

Our competitively priced fee structure is age and experience based and is as cheap and fair as we can make it to allow everyone to get involved.  And, while we would prefer our clients to pay for the music tuition term prior to commencement of lessons, we understand that sometimes the household budget just does not always allow for this.  So, with this in mind, we developed a unique strategy to help you get going.  It's as easy as ABC:

(A)  PAY-AS-YOU-GO flexible payment options (pay weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or start, middle or end of term)
(B)  EARLY-PAYER-DISCOUNT-RATE (when payments are started between week 1 - 5 of term)
(C)  TEN-LEVEL-PRICE-CHARTS to find the right tuition pricing (based on school age, music course, employment status, etc)

The Term Dates are shown (at right).  You will notice that mostly our term lengths are 11 weeks long so, while we may allow you to pay off your tuition fees, we encourage you to please start paying early.  To help you save we have introduced an early payer DISCOUNT RATE which only applies if you start paying off your tuition fees before Week 6 of term.  You only have to START PAYING during this week 1 - 5 period to receive the discount on your whole term.  

If you don't START paying anything until Week 6 you will have to pay the STANDARD RATE.  Finally, if you decide to pay at the end of the term then you will have to pay the LATE RATE, plus a $40 administration fee.  

​So it's simple: To avoid paying more just start paying before Week 6.

SIMPLE NOTES ON OUR TUITION:

1.    YOUR OWN INSTRUMENT.  You don't need your own instrument to start lessons.  We have everything you need and offer very cheap instrument hire pending your instrument purchase.

2.    THE RIGHT INSTRUMENT.  Yes, we sell new and used musical instruments and music equipment in our onsite shop and we have a complete layby system so you can pay off musical instruments, equipment, accessories and other items.  It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you DON'T buy any gear until we ascertain your musical needs to ensure the right equipment for you. ​

3.    TRIAL LESSONS.  Trial lessons are available on request to help the uncertain get started.  Please contact us to arrange your one-time no obligation trial music lesson.

4.    MULTI-SIBLING DISCOUNT.  We have lots of families with two or three doing individual tuition each week so yes, we do special multiple family members rates.  So if you have three children that want to do music; or a parent and child; or any other configuration simply contact us for details.

5.    DOUBLE STUDENT PER SESSION DISCOUNT.  Yes, we also do dual lessons ie:  two family members or two friends with the tutor in the same lesson.  As long as there is reasonable ability match (ie: a fast learning 12 year old plus a "keep-up" parent; two teenagers; or maybe even two "mums on a mission").  Contact us for details and we'll ascertain learning compatibility then get underway.

6.    WHEEL CHAIR ACCESS:  Equipped with a full wheel chair ramp at the front of the building, our facilities are mobility access friendly. No steps or level changes inside so ease of movement is safe and welcoming. 

7.    WE CAN COME TO YOU.  In genuine cases we can come to you:  In cases of genuine transport or health difficulty, if the parent/carer or music student is  incapacitated, invalided, house bound or in some way unable to take lessons at our studio then we can come to you - even in hospital or any type of rehabilitation, recovery, or halfway house.  To calculate the cost, simply add $45 per lesson to all the amounts shown in the columns above. 8.    FORTNIGHTLY LESSONS.  Fortnightly tuition is available in genuine transport / travel circumstances for long distance students but it is recommended to do a mixture ie: adding in a couple of weekly sessions within the term.  It works like this;  do mostly 60mins a fortnight but then split one or two of the 60min sessions back to 30min sessions across consecutive weeks which ultimately builds better learning while generally still reducing your amount of travel over the whole term.

9.    MISSED LESSONS.  To ensure tuition time and value-for-money are maximised, we offer to  re-schedule any missed lessons to another day or week throughout the term.  To claim your lesson re-schedule simply call or SMS text message with at least a working days notice (around 8 hours).

10.  REQUIRED TUITION EXTRAS.  Once we commence tuition, students are issued with a starter pack (ie: Book/CD/DVD, guitar plectrums, drums sticks, etc) which is added to your starting tuition fees.

11.  LATE FEES.  A $40 administration fee will be applied to your remaining balance due if you do not complete your term fees payments by the end of the term.

12.  PRICES.  Published music tuition prices as appearing here may change without notice.  We may offer to reduce these prices to assist you with tuition.

​13.  PAYMENT METHODS.  We accept many payment forms of payment including cash, cheque, bank transfer and eftpos available in our Taree office.  So, feel free to pay by
